My life is pretty uncomplicated. I work full time and have a lot of vacation time. I own a home that I share with a cat. When I have free time and the weather permits I like to go out to the coast to surf or up to the mountains to snowboard. I've also taken up an extreme sport called riverboarding. I don't hike or backpack much; camping is alright as long as the campground is quiet. I attend church but it's not the focus of my life.

I'm looking for someone who leads a healthy lifestyle, which would preclude smoking (any kind) and excessive drinking or any substance abuse. Someone who has most of their gear together who can share their energy to discover the joys of a relationship, but who isn't desperate for one. I have enough projects around the house, I don't need a project-boyfriend. My life is pretty good being single, and as much as I'd love to find a life long partner, I'm happy either way. I also love to play scrabble and read; I prefer those who command the English language and vocabulary to their advantage.

I am a visual person and have to admit that I will be more taken in by someone who takes care of themselves. If you can't see your toes when you look down please look elsewhere! Also if you do not have a recent picture posted or sent to me do not expect a response from me. I prefer tall men.

I enjoy quality live music, humorous or intriguing movies (most recently watched Idiocracy and Supersize Me), reading, and finding ways to improve on who I am and the life I'm living. I prefer to surround myself with people who are supportive, friendly, comforting, empathetic and above average IQ.
