ABOUT ME:

I am fairly new at the dating scene from a serious relationship, so I'm setting up a profile with the positive intent of casually conversing to see where things lead.

As for about myself, let’s see where do we begin. (I so feel like I’m adding myself to an online catalog right now LOL.)

Well, I don't have many friends, but the ones I do have are very dear to me. My best friend, Jenny, is my rock, Partner in Crime, and all things awesome. She comes up in a majority of my conversations because we have known each other a little over 10 years and have stuck by each other through thick and thin. She’s the one I normally get up shenanigans with, but alas. She’s engaged, so her time is needed there.

I'm a pretty quiet in groups, but one-on-one, after a while I can easily joke around and talk your ear off depending on the topic of the conversation. My friends often look at me as the classy, genuine one of the group that can always be counted on no matter what time of day.

Oh, and always feel free to laugh at me because I'm being a nut (out of nowhere quoting "I am Batman." you know you do it to when you hear Michael Keaton’s or Christian Bale’s name) or tripping over something (dang invisible dead bodies). I'm keeping the record straight, I'm am not accident prone. I just get myself into interesting situations lol.

Let's see, what else. Well if you've read my detail description, I'm 5'8" and would describe myself as average. If anything I'm curvy (thanks mom for hips *rolls eyes*), but it all depends on your definition of the word lol.

I am confidant in who I am, yet humble enough to know that I still have much to learn no matter the experiences gained. I am a firm believer in that knowledge is power, which is why I’m passionate about exploring new things, being well rounded and will give most things a chance.

I like to think I have a funny dark sense of humor with a quarky personality that can be sarcastic. I like balance, where I bounce between the spectrum of acting like a 5 year old to being serious, but mainly being quarky me. I try to be drama free, but life can sometimes throw obstacles in the way so I meet the challenges as best I can. How we face these challenges in life is important because they define who we are and build character of who we truly wish to be. It’s within these trying moments it allows us to appreciate the natural beauty of the world.

INTERESTS:

I have been deemed as an adventure junkie because of my love of fencing, sky diving, snow boarding, boxing, whitewater rafting, video games (Zelda obsessed), paint ball, ATVing, horse back riding... and the list goes on.

I'm really not into the clubbing nor drunken weekend scene.

I love to explore new places local or not, but Disneyland will always be one of my top places.
Balboa Park, Gardens, Zoo, walking on the beach, plays, concerts, bowling, painting, etc.

I just love walking everywhere around town looking for interesting new small Mom and Pop places.

Music:Rock and classicial mainly, but I will listen to almost anything.

Food: I absolutely love Greek, Mexican, Italian and American. I detest seafood and Thai food because I'm lame that was since my tastebuds changed to a different direction.

Movies: Clockwork Orange, Coming to America, Willy Wonka the Chocolate Factory, Pride & Prejudice, Sleeping Beauty, Labyrinth, Evita, Nightmare Before Christmas, My Fair Lady, The Vacation movies with the Grizwalls, Love Betty Davis, Bonnie and Clyde, Blades of Glory.

Love getting dressed up for events

When I'm not running around, I am very fond of reading, especially on rainy days :-)

I love to read because you are able to step foot in other locations beyond your mind as well as the connection we often have with characters, desires, joys, success, turmoil, tragedies. You are never too old to stop leaning new things and to see a different perspective.

As far as what I'm searching for, I'm not quite sure to be honest. Would it sound cliche to say I want something easy, yet with an intensity of passion with someone that has similar interests?

I'm not normally an internet person, preferring to do some sort of hobby away from computers since I'm on a computer all day at work. I would like to meet someone that is similar in that regard and would like to have fun outside the virtual world, whether it may be just for a walk, coffee, or something more adventurous.

I suppose in general I’m searching for what every girl wants, a partnership.

For him to be mature when he needs to be, dependable, honest (at least with me), can hold a conversation, understanding, and someone that enjoys my company as much as I would enjoy his. I know that not everyone is perfect and understand that there will be difficult moments in every relationship, so I would like someone that no matter the tribulations we face, to give it their all in making things work. The type of love that is timeless.
