After growing up in Arizona, Florida, and now North Carolina, I'm a big fan of the sun and all that comes with it. Playing sports, especially volleyball and softball, has always been one of my favorite ways to hang out with friends and enjoy the outdoors. Watching sports is also one of my favorite ways to relax after a long work week.

Taking vacations to see friends around the country and experience new adventures is another big hobby. I grew up in a military family and was born in Japan. A few years ago I had the chance to visit again. You don't have to travel the globe for good sushi, but I loved the opportunity.

Let's see . . . what else . . . I am super social. I enjoy meeting new people and feel lucky to have several old friends that I feel like I've known forever. Having the kind of friendships that can last through the good and bad of life is important to me. I'm the kind of person who loves to listen, laugh and fight for my friends' happiness.

One of my biggest goals in life is to see the love of the Lord impact those around me. I am confident that God is real and dwells among us .. especially in everyday life where things can seem mundane.
