Hello I’m Ron.

I was born and raised in Texas and say yes sir and yes ma’am. I actually open doors for complete strangers expecting nothing in return. I am a gentleman with the ladies (no matter how well I know or don't know them) and treat them with the utmost respect.

I like having fun. I am witty, sarcastic and can be a smart ass to liven up a conversation. I'm also an excellent listener.

Most importantly I love spending time with my 6 year old daughter. When she is with me - about 50% of the time - she is my shadow and wants to do everything I do. Of course I eat this up. :-) She is very important to me and I LOVE being a dad.

I'm very easy going and get along with about everyone. I like to be real about who I am and will get along best with another person that feels the same way.

Even though I’m a Texas native, I have lived in CO for a long time and know lots of cool places to go and things to do. I have some great ideas for introductory dates (and I'm not talking Starbucks) and for evening dates where can both turn lose and have some fun.

Chatting on here a few times seems to be a good way to get some questions answered about someone, but meeting in person is the way to go even if for a short period of time.

Although I come from a well to do family, everything I own, I earned myself. I own my home and my business.

My family owns a Beach House in South Padre Island, TX. The Beach House is HUGE and a great place for vacation. There is nothing more romantic than an evening walk down the beach with the crashing waves and the beauty of the moonlight streaming over the ocean. Or Talking a long walk as the sun just is coming up over the ocean and watching the dolphins playing.

The family also owns a 500 acre horse/cattle ranch up in the mountains of Golden. Horse riding, tearing it up on the four wheelers or just having a big BBQ (which we do once a year) and enjoying the view are all fun from the ranch. 4th of July is particularly fun from up there because you can see the fireworks from all over the city from the massive deck or from the comfort of the living room if it is a little cold outside.

Ready for a shocker? I can cook, clean, vacuum, do laundry and maintain a house too. The point being that I don’t expect other people to do my work for me. I really do like to cook and am always looking for new ideas to try.

What I'm looking for:

Someone that loves children as much as I love my daughter (most important), and likes to have fun as a family just as much as she does just as a couple. Family values are important to me.

I tend to be drawn to blonde hair and brown eyes, nurses, teachers or anyone else who dedicates their career to helping others. Those are NOT must have characteristics, just things that seem to be common among people I have gotten along with well.

I have a lot to offer a woman that is ready for real dating and possibly a real relationship. Are you that person? If so, let's get to know each other better and go from there. Worst case scenario is we both make a new friend and nobody can have too many friends.
