I'm an active and healthy individual looking to share that lifestyle with someone who shares like interests and enjoys like activities. I take good care of myself. Who are you looking for?

Are you looking for the captain of the football team? Well, good luck with that. I suggest you RSVP to your next class reunion, and I hope you still fit into your skinny jeans. But, don't bother with an RSVP to me. I don't think I would embrace your value system. On the other hand, if you want to meet someone living a happier healthier life than the football captain, send me a message. As a consolation, I did participate at the varsity level in division I intercollegiate athletics, in a non-contact sport. Looking for someone who is financially responsible? That's me.

I am generally very laid back and a bit introverted. I am a responsible, trusting and faithful person that can be counted on. I am one who lives primarily upon rules of common sense. I won’t force my opinions or feelings on you, but don’t ask me a question, if you just want to hear a particular answer, because I will honestly let you know my feelings. One of the quickest ways to turn me off is to say one thing when you mean something else. I’ve spent enough of my life trying to be a mind reader. Just tell me what you like, what you need, and how you feel. I may not be able to deliver everything, but at least I will know clearly where to start. Beware, I can be a bit of a fun maverick at times. I like quality and value. I like to shop and bargain hunt, and enjoy making an occasional impulse purchase. I like to buy and hold, but if I do sell I buy low and sell high.

My favorite time of year is the spring, when new growth is popping up everywhere. I enjoy going to warm places in the winter, but like to return home to experience the snow. I enjoy going to cool places during the warmer months, but like to return home to experience the Iowa summer. I tend to be an early riser, and not much of a night owl.

In my list of interests, sport and exercise, I've listed things I like to do, not necessarily things I do on a regular basis. That way you will know what activities I would share with you, not necessarily what I would expect you to share with me.

As much as I enjoy being active, I enjoy down time even more. A quiet evening at home is always nice, and I love to relax by a fire in the winter. On occasion, dining out, seeing a good movie or getting together with friends is a great way to spend an evening. I’m very game for trying new endeavors, so who knows what else I might enjoy? I often seek out volunteer opportunities and love working with an organization whose cause I can embrace and who can benefit from my knowledge, skills or sweat.
