I want a companion to share good conversation, fun activities & I'm always open to new experiences. I like to read, write (have had articles published & 1 book). I enjoy socializing but miss that one-on-one close relationship with a significant other doing things as a couple or just enjoying each other's company, whether out in public or relaxing at home. I love animals, gardening &
enjoy traveling. I have a good sense of humor, a quality I also appreciate in others.I like eating a meal out now & then but also enjoy cooking & sharing a meal with someone or a small group of friends.I like to do volunteer work & have an endless curiosity about other people, places & feel a person can never stop learning new things. Family is important to me; I was adopted & I tend to "adopt" others & treat my friends like extended family. I feel everyone has value, no matter their station in life. I also feel it is important to treat people & all living things with kindness & respect; children & animals need our protection, love & guidence. I grew up in the Puget Sound area, Bainbridge/Bremerton; I am very concerned about environmental issues & would like to become more involved with solutions to improve the future of our planet.
