I am a KU grad and an ex-Army officer. I am 50% Sicilian so I have that Italian fire in me at times. But I also have a very sensitive side to me. I am a very secure person in who I am now. I don't have any baggage or emotional ties to past relationships. I am looking for a friendship first and maybe develop into more if the chemistry is right. I am a firm believer that no relationship will survive without a strong friendship. Somehow the big 4 always become involved if anything is to survive beyond a few dates....by this I mean intellectual, physical, emotional and financial. All relationships, whether past or present, determine who you are as a person.

I have a great career and have grown in that every year. Born and raised in Colorado and miss that area. All of my very close friends are there. I will try to make the best of KC even though I am not fond of it necessarily. I have a daughter here in KC who means the world to me and in whom I stay grounded as a person. She is why I am here solely. I still make mistakes because I am only human...I just try really hard not to repeat them a second time.

As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn't supposed to ever let you down probably will. You will have your heart broken probably more than once and it's harder every time. You'll break hearts too, so remember how it felt when yours was broken.

You'll fight with your best friend. You'll blame a new love for things an old one did. You'll cry because time is passing too fast, and you'll eventually lose someone you love. So take too many pictures, laugh too much, and love like you've never been hurt because every sixty seconds you spend upset is a minute of happiness you'll never get back.

Just got my pilots license finally.

I heard a great saying the other day. "Love is a friendship that has been set on fire!" There is no way I could say that any better.
