I'm new to Arkansas, and new to this site. I haven't done this much.

I'm bright, and competent at most things. Kind of a jack-of-all trades, and the master of a few. I'm good with people, and with computers and gadgets, which is an unusual mix. I stay in pretty good physical shape, but I prefer working with my brain, instead of my back.

For now, I'm in the "let's relax and be friends" mode. I want a friend who can keep things light and fun, and I know how to be a good friend in return.

You don't need to be a genius, I'm certainly not. But you should be able to string a few words together to make a decent sentence.

I don't expect you to be a model. Personality really is more important to me than looks. I don't have a washboard stomach like I did at eighteen, but I do work to stay in reasonable shape. I hope you do too.

I travel with my work, so I'm gone a lot. I hope to find a special friend who is secure enough to deal with my absences.

I thrive on interesting conversation, and am a good listener. I love to read, and I like movies. Horror flicks are mostly comedies and that's okay, but I appreciate the occasional really scary one. You should like science fiction because... well, because I do. I never watch team sports, so you can stop pretending you like them.

About sex: I can be all about romance and anticipation. But I'm also a "no bull****" kinda guy, so I may as well bring this up now. [Sex]? I like it. Don't you? I'm not looking for a hookup, or a one-night stand. I expect we will get to know each other first. We should be friends, and if sex feels right between us, that's great. If we're to be good friends then you should really LIKE good sex. You know what I mean-- some women enjoy it, and some just put up with it. I don't expect it to be the whole focus of our [friendship], but you may as well know it's important.
