I am a quality person blessed with a great personality, a little warped, wry sense of humor, high reliablility, great ethics and values, and I expect the same in return. Be smart and funny and have values and some charm, even if you aren't GQ material. I am loyal and giving, have a big heart, but I expect it all back in return 100%!!

I prefer to find someone who is at least my equal, if not better than me!!! I believe in learning & growing in the heart and soul, so someone who can lift me up is a real asset, and hopefully he'll glean insight from me as well. I'm not a Bible-thumper, but I definitely have a bond with and through Christ & I would appreciate it if you did not try to "show me the way" as we each have our own way and our own relationship with God. Of course, if you are atheist or agnostic, we won't have a connection at all. I do not believe in any one religion as being "the" religion; seems to start wars and is the antithesis of being Christian.

Please do not ask me what I want in a man. I think I make it abundantly clear here, especially about what I don't want, and I don't appreciate a man being a gumby doll just to get me.

I'm trying to quit smoking, but it is a trial!! I do well some times and awfully other times. Being around a good influence would help!!

I am an Army brat, born in W. Germany, & have also lived in Georgia, New Jersey and now Texas since 1983. I have two wonderful brats, (one of whom is married), and 3 brat cats. I am not college educated, but I know I'm intelligent and I love words. Most people assume I have been graduated from college. I have tons of heart and soul and I'm wanting so badly to have someone to share life with who will respect and appreciate what I have to give him. And I so look forward to finding someone who willingly wants to return the love. I'm not a lonely person, but I am lonely for that wonderful love, the kind where we feel when we look into each others' eye, we are "home", safe, embraced, appreciated, with my best friend, co-anchor and partner-in-crime in this world; someone with whom to laugh and cry and everything in between through life. I want someone who knows what a lady is and how to treat me as the lady I am. I actually do want a "nice guy" as long as you OWN being one; don't just act it. I stayed out of the whole dating and relationship business for over 10 years and hope I am not too late in finding my one and only.

I hate having to put on here my "I don't want" list, but after time spent on here, I must: ABSOLUTELY NOT INTERESTED IN AN INTIMATE SEXUAL ENCOUNTER ONLY!!! I don't want a relationship with someone starting out looking for an intimate encounter, either! I don't dig male sluts & I don't buy the "if they offer it, why not?" attitude. Yeeeesh!!! How old are you? I love sex as much as anyone, but I deserve better than friends with benefits or someone who passes his body around for sport.
Update: Yes, I ACTUALLY have to say this out loud...If you have ever HAD SEX with an animal, OR WATCHED a human have sex with an animal, DO NOT COME NEAR ME. Seek help instead. And don't blame it on booze or being in the service....

And, seriously, unless you are single, (and separated is not single enough for me), please press on. If you are into "swinging", pornography, (and yes, Playboy & Playgirl are porn. Please feel free to run that by your clergy if in doubt.), boobie bars and such, you need to go elsewhere.

If you've had more lovers than you can count on your hands, and you are still counting, that's creepy. If you are promiscuous, don't want you. If you've lived in sin without thought of forever being the goal, and you've done it more than a couple of times in the past 10 years, don't want ya!! If you live with someone and keep running home to mom or dad when it was over, I don't want ya!!

And, my latest peeve: If your idea of fun is belittling me, my body or my smarts, go soak your head. If ALL you can do is make jokes at others' expense, you are a bore.
