Last night in my lonely room I laid awake touching the cold sheets next to me, where you should be. I wonder... will it always be this way?
Not able to sleep, I tiptoed across the cold kitchen floor to make some coffee at 5 o'clock in the morning. In the cold, dark, still morning I have my coffee, and think of how nice it would be to see your smiling face. To share this time with you. Just the two of us, talking and laughing about the memories we've made, living for today, making plans for tomorrow. Sharing our life together.
For now though, I'm single and free! So, I'll be out listening to a local band and dancing.


Someday, when the perfect man for me walks into my life he'll be taller than I am in high heels, he'll have a chest measurement larger than mine. He may be a grandpa, but he's not ready to look like one. He's fun-loving and young at heart. He's a good family man. He likes backyard barbecues with family and friends. Whenever we're together we find we always have a great time, just talking and laughing about nothing at all.
