Hi ladies, I'm scott.
I love it when women ask > "ARE THERE ANY GOOD GUYS LEFT OUT THERE?"
The answer is YES, but unfortunately very few under the age of 35. The vast majority of men take that long to grow up....myself included. Also know that ALL MEN (who are biologically healthy) will sometimes sneak a LOOK at another pretty woman. That doesn't mean that all men have unfaithful hearts that would risk losing a blessing. I frown upon cheating and dishonesty very heavily.
If you think you'll find the partner of your dreams within a week or two of activating an online dating profile, please know that scenario is a very rare exception; hence the term for testing the waters, known as DATING.
Good things come to those who have the patience to refrain from jumping into things with every pretty face that comes up as a mutual match. So many people get a profile then cancel it within a week, just because they feel they are being ignored by all the mutual matches whom they (think) they like best. Since when do people really KNOW what suits them best? Most people look at one's physical attributes FIRST AND FOREMOST and if that doesn't absolutely thrill them they disqualify what may have been the find of a lifetime LOL. Better to love one's heart and have the blessings of loyalty in your life. GET OVER THE SUPERFICIAL TENDENCIES already! Excercise a little patience and intelligence...or don't even bother creating a profile.
I just came down to NC from CT to attend the Roadmaster school in Dunn, NC. I can definitely see myself taking up a permanent residence here. More motorcycle riding weather, lower real estate & tax costs and a lot of really nice people. I strive to captalize upon the good attributes in all whom I encounter.
I am a firm beliver that the vast majority of all SUCCESSFUL long term relationships are preceded by a solid bond of friendship. Intellectual stimulation can be very satisfying at times (not forgetting the simple & sentimental things of course) and I would love to be involved with someone who thrives on a mutual exchange of knowledge, humor, conversation, exploration and occasional adventure. I'm very inventive and open minded as well as willing to partake in anything that might make us both wiser, healthier individuals. Humor and music are two of the most powerful medicines for me as well as country cruising on my motorcycle. I also believe in scriptural values and the golden rules therein; yet none who know me well would ever call me a "holy roller". I need a steady dose of all these things to maintain mental equilibrium. I'm not big on rap, operah or head banging, but I enjoy most other genres of music in a very big way. Affection between two people is a must!
Beyond all the little things I wish to achieve for my wee little daughter (lives with her Mother in CT), I would really like to share my life with someone very optimistic, passionate, funny and intelligent; who maintains the ability to perceive things in a realistic manner. Bonus points if you love nature, wildlife and kids. Nurturing is the keyword here. If you are an athiest or talk like a trucker all the time, please move on to the next profile. I gave up smoking, because I don't want the bloodflow problems that cause most men to go running to their doctor screaming "I need viagra". That stuff should only be for very old men! Otherwise, it just creates one more lame excuse for laying around in front of the TV/PC/video game console while smoking and eating junk food. If you want things to work well, then STOP SMOKING AND MOTIVATE!!!!
BTW: If you hate motorcycles, you may as well just skip right over my profile. I love motorcycle riding, especially in the country. I started riding at about 11 or 12 years old. I've owned about 20 various bikes to date and wrenched many, many more.
While I miss the wondrous diversity and excitement of working in NYC, I still prefer the country scenery.
I wish well for everyone and I believe there is someone out there for (virtually) everyone. The real mystery lies within the search for that one-in-a-million chance of finding the one who knows your thoughts and feelings when no words are spoken...rare indeed.
Since I've been asked a few times, I''ll simply state here that my eyes are blue. I've gained a few belly pounds since these photos (spring of 2009), but I'm working on it. Bear in mind that I'll do ANYTHING for someone I have affectionate feelings for. If that's not good enough for you then you can just go on asking if there are any good guys left out there LOL.
May good fortune favor EVERYONE in their search!
