I'm a homebody at heart, but I'm usually up for a night out to have a few drinks and socialize with friends. I'm ultimately looking for a life partner...somebody that I can do the things we like together, and basically spend alot of my spare time with. I believe that your perfect partner does not match you interest for interest, but can compliment you perfectly and keeps an open mind (that goes both ways) to learn more about what the other is interested in and in turn, bond like mad. I love diversity and mixing things up...complacency is something I loathe! I love to cook, and my partner would have to be my guinnea pig ;] I'm a good cook though, I swear. I also enjoy going to watch live bands play at shows, playing catch with the baseball, chillin' in the park or by the lake, attending white sox games, going on weekend road trips, fishing, and picnics. I also would like to hit up some of the museums that Chicago has to offer. Exploring the city is fun, too. My ideal girl would be heavily into music, severly open minded and laid back. At the same time, I need somebody assertive, that stands up for herself and isn't afraid to knock me on my ass (figuratively) when I need it. Tattoos and piercings are things that interest me, so the more the merrier. But as far as chemistry goes, that and personality take top priority. I've always told my friends that my perfect girl would be the kind that can throw and catch a baseball, and the kind that would also go to get her nails done. I guess I want the perfect hybrid of a girly-girl and a jock, haha. I'm a big joker, and I won't take life too seriously. It's far too short to be sweating the small stuff. As long as I'm working, can put food on the table, and pay the bills...Well then a happy man is what I'd be. I have a relatively small family, but they are very important to me and I'm pretty protective over them. ;]
