Originally from Dagenham,East London,now living in Washington State,USA.Since my divorce in 1993,i have become more of a roaming gnome.So,i look for female friends.Though i have known many people in this country,not many have become close friends.
Though i do not take people or things at face value,i do take and respect them,for who or what they are.We've all made mistakes in life,i'm no exception,but like yin and yan,there comes good out of bad and vise-versa.I'm not perfect,i'm just me.I believe,no one has the right to prejudge anyone.I also know that people all over the world,can get along together,it's only politics,that prevents that,in MOST cases.I'm not political,like i said,i'm just me,it's up to people if they can accept that.
It's really amazing nowadays,how fast this world is changing.What i've noticed,is in generel,people don't trust each other anymore.Some women out there,believe men are only after one thing.Some men out there,believe women want a free ride to life.In some cases,yes,it's true on both sides,but not everyone thinks the same.Some of us do believe in values and virtues.So,trust goes out the window.However,if you can not learn to trust someone,how are they going to trust you?
Then there is of course,the people who have no respect for themselves.Again,if you can not respect yourself,just how do you expect others to respect you?You have to believe in yourself,in order for others to believe in you.If you can not do that,the fundamental of life,then you truly have my sympathy.After all,you can not help someone,whose not willing,to help themselves.
In a nutshell,you have to be friends,before getting involved.Listen as well as hearing and be honest enough with others,to properly get to know them.The least you are going to get out of it,is a friend and a better world to live in.You are the only one,who can change your life and,in return,just maybe,someone,will want to share it with you.
