Like most people, I do not like to talk about myself, so this is difficult.

I am a single mother of a teenager who has been the center of my universe since before she was born. Her "dad" bailed before she was born, so I have raised her by myself and we are a bit possessive of each other.
Next year, we will both be moving to VA Beach to attend nursing school. I never had the opportunity to go to college, so I am very excited to finally start a career with a decent job and not have to struggle to survive and put food on the table. (update----I passed the entrance exams on 8-16-08 to get tino an RN program!!!!)Can't wait to sell my mobile home that is falling apart and move! My short term goal is to have a dishwasher because I have never had one. Sounds so silly, but I am sick of doing dishes!
I can find fun in just about anything...one of the silver lingings of not having $ for entertainment, I suppose. People watching is my favorite. People never fail to entertain-mostly when they have no idea they are being funny.
Not into shopping, unless it is for bargains or a cool flea market or fair. Sorry guys, but I won't be dragging you around a mall. I HATE malls!
Not into material things, so if you are a "brand" person, we probably don't have much in common. My favorite restaurant is a diner down the street and to me Dunkin Donuts is fancy coffee. Favorite store is Walmart or Target and probably always will be even if I hit the lottery.
Wow...there's a topic....what would you do if you hit the lottery for 50 million?
I'd buy a house with a lot of bedrooms and foster kids who need someone to love them and be a parent to them. The house would also be full of animals because my house always is!....and I would buy a Harley for myself and have it painted hot pink!. And one for my daughter(hers would be aqua).
That wasn't as bad as I expected!
