Why is it so hard for people to be honest.. meaning not lying or playing games? If you're the kind of man that doesn't know the true meaning of being true and honest then please stop reading right here. I am to the point that I think I'm going to quit chasing the dream of finding my one true love and just hope that someday he taps me on the shoulder and says "Here I am darling"!

I am a hard working single mother and I'm also going to college to get my RN degree. I am capable of taking care of myself no matter how hard it may be at times so I'm not looking for someone else to do that for me! What I truly want is a GOOD man (this means he does not lie, cheat, and makes an honest living!) I would much rather be alone forever than to share my life with what I am not looking for!

I love the wonders and beauty of nature that God has gifted us with. Love going for long walks or just cuddling while watching a movie. I'm happy just being with someone who appreciates and respects me for being me. I'm 100% real.. nothing fake about me. I am a true southern girl (I grew up on a family farm in Wedowee, Alabama) and don't mind getting my hands dirty. I have a warped and sometimes silly sense of humor that sometimes makes people go huh or OMG! But hey that's who I am!

What I am looking for is a good, honest and faithful man to someday share my life with. I want someone to laugh or cry with, to hold and share lifes adventures and complications with(because life can't always be a bed of roses right?), someone to look forward to coming home to and growing old with, and so much more!

Below is my "grocery list" of likes, dislikes, wants and needs. Please don't be offended at my honesty!

1. I refuse to settle just to settle. I’d prefer to be alone for the rest of my life if I don’t find the man that is perfect for me.. not perfect.. but perfect for me.
2. I am totally honest. If you don’t want the truth then do not ask me. If you do ask me then be prepared for my answer. I’m also quite blunt as well. I prefer for someone to hurt me with the truth rather than breaking my heart with a lie.
3. I’m not skinny.. nor am I a cow. If what you want looks like something from the covers of a magazine then I suggest you stop here and move on to the next person in your sights. I would prefer someone to find more about me to love than just my looks. I am not that shallow and much prefer someone with intelligence over good looks anyday!
4. I am not looking for a man to support me. I do have a job although I don’t make loads of money. I know how to make do with what I have. I’m also not materialistic. I believe in having what you can afford not going in to debt just so you can have those things you really want but really just don’t need. It’s called taking responsibility for ones self!
5. If you’re married, separated (guess what.. this means that you’re still married!), going through or newly divorced then I really do not want to get involved in any of your recent drama.
6. I hate drama. If you have it going on in your life then you have no time for me/us. You truly need to fix these issues before you get involved with anyone as it will surely destroy any relationship you hope to have.
7. I like kids.. I have two of my own.. but if you have young kids then I prefer not to date you. Mine are 15 and 18 and I just don’t care to “start over”.
8. If you smoke, drink other than socially, do drugs, addicted to porn, abusive in any form or just cannot be happy with one woman then you and I will definitely NOT get along. My suggestion is to seek help for your problems rather than a woman that is going to have to deal with your problems as well. Not fair to her at all!
9. Teeth. This is very important to me. If you have not taken good care of your teeth and they are rotting in your mouth then please go to the dentist. This is a MAJOR turn off for me. I love to kiss and trust me you would not be kissing me at all with teeth like that. If a person cannot take care of their teeth then it truly makes me wonder what else they are not taking care of!
10. I don’t like men with long hair. And I can assure you that probably about 90% of all women do not either. I have yet to see any man with long hair that looks good. Just does nothing for me.
11. Tattoos. I can deal with a few that can be covered up when wearing a short sleeve shirt. I just don’t find the covered arms, neck, legs, whatever all covered in tattoos appealing at all. I currently do not have a tattoo but I do plan to get one on my birthday. I’m getting a dragonfly resting on the top of my right shoulder. Something classy, not trashy.
12. I want a man that knows how to treat a woman. Respect and honesty are big factors for me. Conversation is a must. If you are not good at talking to your lady then there will always be a communication problem therefore creating more problems. Honesty is just as big. You have to be honest with your woman. If you have a problem being honest with yourself as well as others then I don’t need your lies in my life.
13. Did I tell you I was blatantly honest? LOL
