I'm 24 and a down to earth sort of person. I enjoy the simple things in life and like meeting new people and trying new things. I have a dry sense of humour and try not to take myself too seriously.

I'm quite tall (6"2), which is usually the first thing people notice about me; my friends always joke that I'm a gentle giant. I've lived in Sydney for most of my life and love the outdoors; I love going for walks and being a part of nature, taking photos of our wildlife and beaches. I've always felt a deep connection with nature and I try to do what I can to help the environment as well.

I have a lot of interests but I really enjoy photography and cooking. Food just tastes better when you take time to cook it yourself and I love experimenting with different meals. I also enjoy travelling. I've been to Europe and I'm hoping to see New Zealand and Japan in the next few years, as well as other parts of Australia... we live in a beautiful country and I've always wanted to see the real Australia others never get to see.

Music is something I love as well; I listen to most genres and love finding a new song for my iPod. I have a real soft spot for 80s music. Maybe it's just the big hair but the 80s seemed like a lot of fun! I love U2, Coldplay, Sarah Blasko, Missy Higgins, Fleetwood Mac - anyone with good lyrics and a good vibe. Love seeing live shows as well, though I don't get to see as many these days.

I'm also a voracious reader and love books. I'm always reading and a dream of mine is to open a small bookshop one day. I've also been writing for several years and have had several short stories published. I've just started writing my first novel and hope to have that published in the future. Who knows, perhaps one day both dreams will come true.

I'm just looking to meet some new people and make some new friends, or perhaps more if we click; no pressure. The kind of person I'm attracted to is someone who is honest and respects themselves. Someone who has a great sense of humour and is intelligent and fun.
