I'm a visual artist with a passion for the outdoors and the natural world. Somedays more artist, somedays more scientist...always up for exploring and finding new ways to experience and capture the beauty around me. I stay connected to my physical self via yoga, walking, and sprinting with my dog!

I realize that list of interests is pretty long, so I'll pick my top 5:
1) Lush green outdoor settings
2) Tasty spicy International cuisine
3) Creating beautiful images
4) Intense and open conversations with brilliant people
5) Anaheim Ducks ice hockey

That yoga pic is me at the pinnacle of my fitness a couple of years ago. As life brings us over some unpredictable terrain, I have gotten away from my yoga practice a bit, but that is the image I hold in my mind. I know what I am capable of, and I am striving to be there again. It would be most excellent to meet someone similarly motivated so we can better each other~

I'm a very kind person with a somewhat wicked sense of humor (kinda twisted, fairly bizarre, somewhat sarcastic, and even a bit goofy). I see the best in people. A great interior can override a mediocre exterior any day. Similarly, a Superman exterior can be completely torn down in an instant by a lame interior. Yes?

Back to why I'm here: I am not looking for any particular type of relationship straight out of the gate! I'm just seeing who's here and desiring to find someone who enjoys new experiences, has the patience to sit through an epic flick, doesn't mind getting his toes wet in mud, can appreciate the smell of the air just after it rains, makes me laugh without saying a word, and takes me by surprise every now and then.

If I meet someone and we truly click and our interactions feel fluid, inspiring, thought provoking, etc., things could move quickly. If there doesn't seem to be a connection, things might not move at all. Hopefully, there will be humor, intrigue and a desire to see each other again before there is any understanding of "what" we are. :)

Also, the non-smoking thing is not flexible. If your profile says "often," "occasionally," or "no answer" next to smoking, it is going to be a big no-no for me. I am highly allergic to even the residual smell of smoke. Please smell good. :)

PS. I've been getting even MORE honest in my communications with people lately and have been called a b*tch a couple of times. If that's your best attempt to insult me, attempt failed. Considering that every woman who is ever called a b*tch is one or more of the following: powerful, brilliant, highly desirable, popular and/or in great control of her life, I take it as a grand compliment. Thanks for the vote of confidence!
