Hi, I'm Emily. I love music. It makes me happy and I'm always looking for new music to listen to. I also like photography, traveling, being outdoors, movies and spending time with people I enjoy being with. I enjoy going out with friends for a few beers, or to see a movie. I also like quiet nights at home, just hanging out or watching tv.

I've lived in the DC area all my life. Grew up in Maryland and moved to Virginia for about five years. Now, I'm back in Maryland again. I'd love to meet some people to re-explore this area with. I'd like to find some new friends, some new people to hang out with, then go from there.

Currently, I am working for an international telecommunications company. I have a bachelor's degree in Computer Information Technology and I'd eventually like to go back to school for a master's degree.

I'd really like to travel more. I recently went to India and have a whole list of other places I'd like to visit. Australia is at the top of my list.

I like to read fiction, mostly. Some authors I like are J. K. Rowling, Edgar Allan Poe, Greg Iles, Dan Brown, David Baldacci and Sophie Kinsella.

Some of my favorite movies are Top Gun, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, The Fifth Element, The Notebook, Office Space, Rebel Without a Cause, Love Actually, The Holiday, Transformers, Serendipity, Happy Feet, Empire Records and lots of others.

Some of my favorite singers and bands are Matt Nathanson, Jonah Matranga, onelinedrawing, Howie Day, KT Tustall, Pearl Jam, Thursday, Dave Matthews Band, Frou Frou, Queen, Johnny Cash, Snow Patrol and James Blunt.
