To live content with small means, to seek elegance rather than luxury, and refinement rather than fashion, to be worthy not respectable, and wealthy, not rich, to study hard, think quietly, talk gently, act frankly, to listen to stars and birds, babes and sages, with open heart, to bear all cheerfully, do all bravely, await occasions, hurry never – in a word, to let the spiritual, unbidden and unconscious, grow up through the common. This is to be my symphony.

The darkness calls
It knows my name
Come take your rest
Here there is no shame.
The coolness of dark water
Waves crashing in the night
Finally it's over
Theres nothing left to fight.
The rumors of horrors
And monsters galore
Are now replaced with
Dark wings made to soar.
With eyes well adjusted
And senses made sharp
I forge this new path
No fear of the dark.

I previously wrote that "Ruth is a very sweet and kind lady and it doesn't hurt that she's stunning", well that's true, but there is so much more. Ruth *knows* me. She somehow knows my personality better than people I've known for years. On occasions, she has made me question the universe I live in and start to believe that perhaps the mystical is real and she's tied directly into it. The one thing that Ruth didn't know about me is how fond of her I am. She goes through the forums spreading wisdom and cheer in equal measure, like a modern day Johnny Appleseed. Regardless of differences, she always looks for common ground and sees the best in everyone. She's an absolute delight and Mingle2 would be less if she no longer posted here.
