About michaelhomefromwar
Interests: my chopper and medievel reinactment
Would you ride on my chopper into a Arizona sunset? Could I feel your embrace under a Tennessee waterfall? How about snuggling on a porch swing during a Nebraska Autumn? I'm a christian wishing for a beautiful lady to stand beside me. Would you hit me with a snowball when I'm not looking and then struggle as I playfully put you over my knee? Would you go atving down a muddy river with me? Would you try my homemade chicken soup when your not feeling well? Would you whisper in my ear when I'm holding you? I feel very fortunate. I have my health, my faith, and my kids. The only thing I'm missing is a special lady in my life. Someday. Someday she will be there. Since being back from Iraq my girlfriend dumped me and my family let me down. But I have no reason to complain. I have my faith, my kids, and my health. I've survived two near death vehicular accidents. The worst thing I faced in war wasn't the mortar attacks. Nor the sniper fire. Not even the roadside bombs. The mashed potatoes was pretty bad but that wasn't it either. The worst thing I went thru was the loneliness. Whenever we came back into the camp from outside the wire. After a three or four day mission. All my buddies would run to the phone and call their loved ones. Now I am back and craving female interaction. Someone to have fun with and hopefully connect with and spend the rest of my life with. That is my hope to find an adventurous spirit that likes to have fun and knows how to treat a man. Whom will always stand by my side. Like my book I'm writing in my blog. My life feels like a story and who knows how it will end. I just need to keep my faith strong and know He is in control. I don't have any reason to ever feel down. But I do. When I do I need to stand back and look on how much I am blessed. I seen an Iraqi woman say once. "No livestock in the pens and no crops in the field. But I will rejoice because the Creator is with me." I need to keep myself positive and uplifted like her. Trust that whatever happens in my life I'm already blessed.
Who I'd like to meet:
The woman of my dreams. Also Leonidas and Abraham Lincoln in the after life. Bear Grills from Man Vs. Wild. Jackie Pullinger the mission lady from the book Chasing the dragon. When she was 20 she jumped on a slow boat to china with very little money. She lived in the worst part of Hong Kong. Full of gangs, drug addicts, and prostitutes. Because of her love for these people and her unwavering committment to God's will she helped so many people beat drug addiction, get out of gangs, and stop prostituting themselves. I do good if I pull over to help someone change a tire. Man what a life she lived.
