I am entirely too complex to put into words. I'm intelligent, passionate, eclectic (no, it's not a typo: look it up!), compassionate, romantic, kind, moody, prompt, and a million other things. I am a christian: not perfect, holier than thou, religious, "churchy", or weird because of it. Just forgiven, and trying to live right. The harder you try, the more you will understand that it's very difficult to do so.
Music is a huge passion in my life. I like it a lot, and lots of styles and artists. I play bass and acoustic guitar in a secular band and at church. I have played in country, rock, and blues bands, and, again, my taste is very eclectic.
I'm also a huge fan of my decendants. They are 3 of the most decent people I know, and not merely because they're my kids.
I make good money, have great friends and family, have owned my own home for years, own my own cars and motorcycle, and I'm a responsible citizen.
At this point, I am exhausted from looking for a mate. I wonder if she's next door or at the store, or right around the corner. If I just find a new friend who isn't a heartless, trashy, hateful, ungreatful person who makes "friends" with every person she meets, I think I'll be happy. Sorry for the remarks, but it seems as if there are as many fake women as fake men. I want to meet someone real, with real tastes, interests, hobbies, thoughts, and feelings of her own. I want a love that that is real; one that will last for a lifetime. I am looking for intellectual stimulation as well as a physical attraction. I want my equal in passion, interest, intellect, exuberance, love...
I'm an odd duck as guys go: I'm not much for sports, although I do watch the Colts when they play. And when my kids played, cheered, performed, etc. in events, I rarely missed one. I'm not much into cars, my looks, or trying to impress people. I am who I am. I have 3 adult children, all of whom are from my marriage of 15 years. Two of the "kids" are in college. I have been divorced since 1996, although I haven't spent all that time alone.
Soemone asked me what size I look for in a woman. I would say I'm not usually attracted to large. I'm not trying to be rude, just up front.
One last thing: I am the king of corny jokes.
