I'm an active person. I do enjoy my quiet time also, but health and fitness are important to me, and outdoor activities beat working out in a gym any day.

I love bicycling. I ride several times a week and enjoy doing organized endurance events (centuries, double centuries, death ride) throughout the season.

I also enjoy scuba diving. I have an instructor certification and teach through a local dive shop. It's not my main job, but how many people get paid to teach a hobby?

Part of my diving activity is learning more about underwater photography. I love it; I just wish that I were better at it. If you're a photographer (land or underwater), that would be a plus!

I'm not the greatest runner, but I do some of that too; mostly for charity fund raising (Race for the Cure, Run to Feed the Hungry, etc.)

In the winter, I also like to ski.

Besides outdoor activities, I like to go to local theatre, such as Music Circus, Broadway Series and B Street. I like a large variety of music from blues, to jazz to rock, and catch a few live concerts every year. I try to do some international travel each year for play in addition to what's required for my work. This year, my fun travel was Cozumel and the Philippines. In February, I'm going to Egypt and the Red Sea. Want to join me?

I hope to find an active independent lady that shares some of my interests, enjoys playing outdoors, taking in dinner and a show, getting away on a weekend adventure, or traveling to a new place half-way around the world.
