About pyrochik
Once upon a time a woman got tired of the daily bump & grind, so she packed up her daughter and her wee little dog and moved into a forest far, far away. It was full of critters, fish, and birds of all descriptions; all kinds of furry, fuzzy, & wonderful things and life was very good.
One day, however, the woman's daughter (who had been secretly growing up) went away to college. Suddenly the woods seemed much emptier and quieter than ever before. The woman found herself talking to the wee little dog, the critters, and eventually--the trees. This was not good. After careful consideration, the woman decided that maybe it was time to find other grown-ups to talk to (trees don't contribute much to meaningful conversation). BUT...there were no other people in the woods! And the nearest village was lacking in... grown-ups of the male persuasion.
The woman's fairy godmother (okay, it was her best friend, but it doesn't fit into the story line) sent her a magical link, to a land of people who were also tired of talking to trees. After clicking her heels three times (and keeping her fingers crossed, just in case) she found herself here.
Chapter 2
*Yawn* It was early morning again. The lady found herself with interesting people to talk to, interesting things to do, but still something was lacking. Maybe is was a special feeling, or perhaps she was just waiting on a sign. (After all those years in the woods, her social skills were a tad rusty).
Whatever the case, she still felt a need for something that she just couldn't describe. So while she was happy, she didn't have that particular tingle that means the fairies are tickling you (tickling is very, very important. Even in the woods.)
Lots of people wrote the lady notes, and some were very nice. Some made her want to smack the sender on the nose with a rolled up newspaper. One day by chance (fatekarmakismet) she noticed a very shy man, hiding way back in the corner. Something about him made her consider. "Hmmmm", she thought to herself, "I'm shy, he's shy, the fairies seem to be shy these days...maybe it's a sign." So she sent him a short note/letter/introduction by way of magic lightning (they called it EMAIL). And she waited...and then....
