First off, I have some things to work out before I'm ready for a relationship again.

So why am I here then.....? Well, I don't consider this just a dating site. I come to give my input in the forums and for a good laugh! Besides, I'm a single Father and am not able to get out much except for on the weekends.

I'm interested in making friends, penpals, and possibly meeting a lover down the road. I don't expect much of anything from internet sites like these but I do leave open a bit of pessimistic optimism.

Love is like a drug. I've been high and come down enough to know it hurts and heals. It's caused some of the best and worst times of my life, and I've wondered at times if it's even worth the effort. I believe it will be, once I've met the one for me. ...or is there a one for me? Only time will tell
