About USSStargazer
Interests: acting, animals, anime, books, cartoons, ceramics, costumes, concerts, cooking, cuddling, fishing, Halloween, haunted houses, holding hands, hugs, laughter, learning, movies, music, reading, singing, swimming, traveling, video games, walking, writing
Eclectic, individualistic, and optimistic; three words that describe me pretty well. I wear many hats even though I'm not much of an actual hat-wearing
person. If you want info or to gush about your favorite Star Trek: TNG episode, I'm your guy. If you want to discuss trends in the podcasting space, I'm
comfortable with trading trends. I'm all over the map when it comes to movies, musical tastes, and literature. I'm a writer, voice actor, video game enthusiast,
a lover of all things geeky, opinionated when it comes to politics, and a Christian. I am more than these things but it's best not to spoil the plot.
Blind since birth, I have developed a style of not only thinking outside the box but trying to live outside the conventional stereotypes. While I do love
dogs, I don't own a guide dog; I prefer them as pets rather than workhorses. While I do play music (and have been self taught since around the age of 5),
I don't desire to be the next Stevie Wonder. Playing music is a hobby and a personal refuge; if I eventually make an album, I can simply cross it off my
bucket list and call it a job well done. I'm a weird mix of having leadership attributes, being a ham on occasion (oh, how I cringe at the thought of the
old video tapes), being gifted with an imagination that knows no limits, and not possessing a "pick me" attitude. (I promise, I do play well with others
but won't be held responsible for disappearing food items. You have been warned.)
I'm one of those people that likes to be noticed because of what I do, how I do it, and how I live. This doesn't mean I'm perfect or think that my choices
are always right; I just have to bump into a few walls before I find an open door to continue onward to the next level. I enjoy giving people advice and
lending an ear or shoulder to lean on. So as long as you won't mind a healthy dose of off the wall references along the way, we're good. (Really, you need
to have a library filled with books/movies/music/tv episodes stored somewhere inside your brain because you never know what random dots I'll connect.)
