So my ethnicity says "middle eastern" and that may give people the wrong impression these days so allow me to explain that with a bit of detail. Everyone who sees me just figures that I'm white and my last name is Scottish, as my dad's side of the family is decended from Clan Donald (long story). He has a mix of blood though, including Czek, Scottish, Irish, and some other stuff. My mother is full blooded Persian and grew up in Tehran. That was back in the good old days before Iran Contra and all the other BS that has screwed that country up. Actually we joke with her that she has some Turkish blood b/c her eyes are brown, but we are a pretty normal american family. Don't know why I wrote this, I think I'm just bored but take it for what it's worth. About 12 cents.

I like to meet people that are calm by nature, but that's a little difficult in Southern Louisiana, or anywhere in the US as I've found out. Most people are quick to point fingers, get over excited about anything, we are a nation with time bombs attached to our hearts. Life is too short for all that **** if you ask me and I try to stray away from it at every opportunity.

I don't like the fact that nobody today seems to have any listening skills. People will ask me questions probing for information and then accuse me of lying to them when the answer is not what they suspect. I'm a little strange and I don't think in the same way as most people, but I try hard to maintain my integrity and absolutely detest being called a liar. If you are to make an accusation you had better have some evidence or a good reason for doing so, as if you are wrong then you are destroying a friendship. Once you get to know me well you will discover that there is no reason to acuse me of anything, as I usually tell the whole truth with no regard for my personal standing or pride. This also means that I drop bombshells, so be careful what you ask for.

Likewise I won't tolorate dishonesty anymore. I'm strange in the respect that even if I know you are lying (as in I see you doing something and ten minutes later tell me that you didn't) I'm not the type to press the issue force the truth out of you. I'll keep quiet about it and let it slide. I'm kind of tired of that philosophy so from now on if I see it, I still won't accuse, but I will walk. And though I don't see everything, I see more than most people think. I guess that comes from my background.

No drugs. Do them all you want on your own time with other friends, but I don't want to see them, I don't want them in my car or in my house. No exceptions. If you are hanging out with me don't have it on you. This is a deal breaker.

I'm pretty quiet and pretty easy going. I like lighting fires in my backyard and drinking out. Dispose of your cigarettes somewhere pleasent and don't piss in my yard.
