.I am kind, faithful, truthful-a man of integrity, patient and caring. I do my best to provide a good role model for my sons and grandson. I am confident, intelligent, generous-always willing to give my time to listen to friends and family members-their questions, problems and/or needs. I am passionate about life...always giving my all to what or who becomes important in my life.
I am a veteran of Vietnam and a man that values what our country stands for...although I am not always in agreement with some of our governments decisions and policies. I enjoy humor and possess a quick wit. I am not afraid to speak what is on my mind but I am also a good listener. I do not like to argue...everyone does have, an should be allowed to have, their own opinion. I would rather agree to disagree then have a discussion turn into a needless argument. I enjoy learning and doing new things.
I have a love and passion for music...just about any type but rap. I play guitar and attempt to sing. I also write...have just completed an in depth book on the history of the United States and each individual state. I also write songs but nothing that is going to ever be a hit song. Some years back I did have the opportunity to sing 1 of my songs(country) at the Grand Old Opry. I do play golf and enjoy watching sports although that is not a priority.
I am looking for some one who shares the majority of my traits and values. I do not wish nor will I try to change someone. As far as interests...I think it is good to have at least a few of the same. However, having varied interests can be beneficial for both parties...life is full of so many wonderful things to see and do...being together and enjoying each others company is the most important thing. Having said that...I would never expect a woman in my life to do or try something new that she firmly objects to.
I love a lot of the simple things in life...sunrises,sunsets,rain and snow,watching a good movie,seeing the smile on the face of a child...particularly if I put it there,music and the list goes on and on....
Now...all that is missing...to find a woman that I can fall "IN LOVE" with and her with me. Someone who will walk hand in hand with me and is not afraid to openly show her affection for me...as I will for her. Someone who's eyes will meet mine and I will be able to tell just by the look on her face...no words necessary....that she has that special feeling that will make our relationship meaningful, loving and without question...the real thing. She will know the same thing when she looks into my eyes
and see my smile. I am most comfortable in jeans and my cowboy boots but willing to dress up whenever the occasion calls for it.
