ABOUT ME:
Well, I have been a teacher for the past 8 years and enjoy it very much. Outside of work, I have a variety of interests including art, hiking, going to the beach, checking out movies, and writing. I have become very interested in Asian culture over the past few years and consider myself a Taoist.
I'm looking for a girl who has similar interests and has these qualities: kindness, intelligence, art-sy-ness.
I'm going to be specific, because I have a very clear idea of who I'm looking for and who I'm not looking for.
WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR IN A WOMAN:
Kindness, thoughtfulness, intelligent, open-minded. I tend to like girls who are cute, quirky, and interesting versus those who are high maintenance glamour girls (not that there's anything wrong with you ladies, you're just not for me :). If you're into art and/or music and the outdoors, especially going to the beach, going hiking, visiting parks, etc., then you're my kind of girl.
I like women of all races, shapes, and sizes, but you must be healthy. No smoking, no alcoholics, no drug abusers.
All in all, I'm looking for someone who I share some of the same interests with who would like to get to know a nice guy, build a friendship and possibly a relationship from there.
WHAT I'M NOT LOOKING FOR:
Bad attitudes, ignorance, pretentiousness (left that and those girls behind at UCF when I graduated).
I'm not into girls who want a backup plan or girls who have low self esteem and are obsessed with getting back with ex boyfriends who treated them badly and/or cheated on them.
I'm not into mind games and I'm not into girls with unrealistic expectations that basically think they know everything there is to know about you within minutes of meeting you. Romance is real and takes time to develop through getting to know someone. Love at first sight is a myth. There's an old saying that "love takes time" and it is most definitely true.
In conclusion, I love to meet new and interesting people and am always open to building new friendships whether they become romantic or not.
