I don't like guacamole. I always try it, but it still doesn't appeal to me.

Grits - I tried them with butter and salt and I tried them with sugar and cinnamon. Nope, can't do it.

I keep a can of those Jumbo Pitted Black Olives on hand.
I'll open the can and pour them in a bowl and sit and snack on them for lunch sometimes.
I eat pimento green olives with cheddar cheese.

My kids used to eat green olives and cream cheese sandwiches and I always thought that was gross.

The Local Muffaletta sandwich around here has a mixed olive salad on it and it it freakin awesome to eat (and very popular).

ill

I would try a bit of it, maybe two to get past the idea that I can't stand olives. But I am always open to trying things I normally don't like if it's prepared differently.

Like Liver, most of the time I don't like it, but there were a couple times when I liked the way it was prepared...can't remember how though.

What about carnival foods?

I hate funnel cake.
Not too fond of fried pickles either but fried butter is good.
Not too fond of blooming onions either - the crispy outer edges are okay but not too many.
I love vinegar fries - I even make those at home.

Can't stand chicken or goose liver pa`te.
I can eat calf liver with onions and butter but I won't eat beef liver.
Liver is one thing most predators go for because internal organs provide the most nourishment, I guess, read that somewhere? LOL

Other popular foods down here that I can't bring myself to eat are:

Chitterlings - Chitterlings are a prepared food usually made from the small intestines of a pig, although the intestines of cattle and other animals are sometimes used.

Turkey Necks and Ox Tails - In all fairness I did sample some Ox Tail stew once and it wasn't too bad. Its cows tail cut in sections.

Cows Tongue - no thank you.

Up in St Louis some of the bars used to sell cow brains - EWW! I don't care how drunk I was, I never had the urge to eat those!

Pork Feet - PICKLED Pork Hocks - not only no but eff no!

Edit because I forgot Chicken and Turkey Feet. I just have no desire to eat beeks and feet.

I buy different sauces and spices to try out.

I bought a very popular sauce caled Mole.
I have had it for like ever.
Has anyone ever had mole?
What is it used for, what does it taste like?
I'm afraid to open it and like it and then it goes bad before I use it.

Yuck to all of that.

I'm not sure if it was from a calf or full grown cow. For the most part, I don't like organ meats.

Carnival foods, never had fried butter...sounds yucky but I do like butter, so I might like it. I don't like the pickled meats or eggs.

Same here with the bloomin onion, only if it's crispy. A lot are way too mushy in the center.

A version of deep-fried butter on a stick debuted at the Iowa State Fair 2011, which was prepared using frozen butter that is dipped in a honey- and cinnamon- flavored batter, deep-fried until browned, and then topped with a confectioner's sugar glaze.

Mississippi has what is called a Koolicle.
It is a pickle soaked in Kool-Aid.
I've never seen anyone eating them.
I don't wanna.

Oh, deep fried butter sounds good.

The pickle sounds gross, I wouldn't want to try it either.
