This was a supper awesome move...
and history shows...that discrimination was going on in those times ...
in NASA with black women and every where else I am sure ... I don't mean to sound negative or trying to disgrace blacks ... I was just surprise black women got to attended ... collage back then ... and their knowledge exceeded them ...they turned out to be brilliant in their work ... and help the first fight capsule go into space ...

They where the be hide the scenes of this technology working and really did put them in space ... but they could not sign their own names to the work ...only for the white man in charge ... But at the end they did receive the respect of all their colleagues... becouse if for not this one women... they would have burned and never would land right ...

I guess after seeing this it really is appalling to still see those hate blacks so much ... and pretend they still do not have any rights ... or freedom of speech ... with everything going on now ...
when they have every right ...I am not quit sure which state is the worse ... but Chicago ... has been one of the worse places to be black ... and all they can think of doing is lets open a police
academy... not put this $ to making some of these neighborhoods better ...with places for those to go after school or $ back into schools so they can try to not be part of a group that do nothing but kill each other becouse of drugs ...

maybe put toward drug rehabilitation ... you can not fix a issue if you don't get to the root of the person problems to begin with ...and that is where it all steams from ... jobs that make more $ then selling drugs ... collages that some can say... hey our history shows we are intelligent and not just what these drugs do to us and make us do... they need people with intelligence to give them something more then policed streets ... to say its ok to shoot blacks ... unless they would make the academy for all blacks to go into the force ... male & female after graduation ... Keep them impressed with intelligence ... Not... discrimination ...

I think you have good ideas. I have a program myself, but it would take quite a bit of sponsorship and money to ever see it come to fruition.

We need to get opportunities to these under served communities, by way of mentoring and educating from a space that understands the culture they are trying to mentor and educate.

as far as Hidden Figures. I enjoyed it as well, some of my favorite females took those roles and the role of the 'jealous' male co worker was played very well too.

It was not a good time to be female AND black, for certain, in terms of being given equal credit or equal opportunity. Those who came up then and succeeded did it in SPITE of the times, and certainly not because of them.

your absolutely right ...they never put the $ into low suppressed neighborhoods... and they should becouse it would make for better out comes ...
some get out some don't ... in their case it is like a army in their boarded up neighborhoods ... another reason not to like charter schools ... all just for the more fortunate children ... only to separate society more ... good luck to you ...and they where all good actresses and actors ... but looking at the real photographs of these women... I don't think I was born or was very small at the time ... I really loved the lunch after church when she first met the man in the army ... you new then she was very intelligent... and a better man for marring her smile2 smile2 smile2 thanks for your comment... always nice to see you ... and your posts ...flowerforyou
