Does the name ring a bell?
When I hear a Nirvana song, I instantaneously smile, and remember a time. Potpourri spray...just makes me feel queezy from the smell of trying to cover an old addiction. Certain B/W Photos get me choked up a bit, just with their composition. What really affects your senses, just by the mere suggestion? |

I had a boyfriend of 6 years who died when we were 22.
He wore a certain aftershave, peculiar to the 60's though I could not tell you what it was. I was walking in a crowd one day years later and suddenly caught a whiff of that aftershave. My head whipped around, searching for him. You would think after 40 years it would simply make one nostalgic, but no, I looked for him. Until my brain caught up. It has happened twice..the hit to your sensory memory precedes reality. |
