Topic: Army pop-ups

getting huge pop-up ads for U.S. Army that take up almost the whole screen and cannot be closed.

You might need to add a Add Blocker.. I use the Adblock Plus on my computer at home and work so I don't see any adds when on the site..

Don't know if you remember but we had huge problems with ad-blocker and M2 not getting along a while back. People who used ad-blocker could not open parts of M2. At that time Adm's recommendation was to disable ad-blocker on M2.

I recall that timeframe also...and similar to you, ads started interfering with my ability to navigate and select Mingle options...so i enabled my blocker...now no issues or problems...(happy dance)

I've found that with ad-blocker enabled the "report this user" button disappears from profiles.

with my last update of firefox and abp i found that i get no ads with abp turned off and i can see the in profile report button.

if you just gotta rerort from a profile and it's hidden, just turn off abp, refresh the page, report and turn abp back on

I don't use the profiles side of M2 anymore (I found someone) and I never get any ads on the community side of M2 as long as my abp is active.

I'm to the point of not using sites that prevent me from using abp.
If there is not a 'dismiss' notice which lets me continue, I go elsewhere.
