When we are willing to listen in a fellow Christian's troubles to help if we can, that person just maybe blessed, and we're fulfilling Jesus' command to love our neighbor as ourselves.

kindness come's from within....when you have to be told for what ever reason,

you do not have it........

This seems to be covered by the fruit of the Spirit...

The Fruit of the Holy Spirit is a biblical term that sums up nine attributes of a person ... living in accord with the Holy Spirit, according to chapter 5 of the Epistle to the Galatians: "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control."
The fruit is contrasted with the works of the flesh which immediately precede it in this chapter.
Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these.
