Two, dinner date and or dancing?
The mirror throws me off
and so does your facial expression.
Why do I like to look into a woman’s eyes? If I were at a restaurant or
the dance club you did attend—
all I know I’d admire what I see.
Theory, It’s safe to say,
I wouldn’t dare ask for
your name, number or simply
have a brief chat with you.

One, the simplest
of all of the 3 pics.

Theory, it would be nice
not to have the simple
internal debate of:
Should I or shouldn’t I walk up to you? That is not the worst part!
It’s being mindful no matter
how many thoughts
a person may have—my mind
would go blank.
The issue isn’t saying, “Hello,”
or asking, “How are you?”
It’s knowing
I’d just say, “Hi,” and nothing more….
