For a person that calls you beautiful instead of hot or sexy. Who calls you back when you hang up on them. Who will stay awake just to watch you sleep. Wait for the person who kisses your forehead. Who wants to show you off to the world. Who holds your hand in front of thier friends. Wait for the one who is constantly reminding you of how much they love you and how lucky they are to have you. Wait for the one you never have to worry about cheating on you. Wait for the one who turns to their friends and says "theres my baby."?

If a woman hangs up on me, I don't call her back.

She can call me back and apologize. Just as I would do, if I were the one being rude.

And I think guys that stare at women (or vice-versa), while they are sleeping, can be kinda creepy, not romantic.

What is your first impression just from my picture.

Then, what is your first impression from my profile?

No one has ever told me this, and I figure complete strangers would be the most honest. :)

1. You are very into yourself.

2. If I wanted a date with you, I would just google Stephen Sounheim and tell you all about him, and how I think he is the greatest _________ in the world.

oh woe is me

I'm a nice guy and I give women money to pay their rent and make their car payments in hopes that they will go out with me

but all they do is use me to make their mortgage payments and then take off with their Hells Angel boyfriend and leave me babysitting their teenage kids

what's a nice guy to do?

(hee hee hee)

Sounds like the next step is to show up on her doorstep with a ring.

I wasn't impressed with the ad one way or the other. Sounded more like "rah-rah for my son" then a anti-choice ad.

However, it was mentioned that it now opens up the field to equally showing a pro-choice ad, which is true.

I thought the tackling part of the scene was asinine, but I thought the same seeing it with Betty White.

It might have been different as kids playing around, and mom was definitely good for football games with us as kids, but if we did that for any reason other then to protect her life, she'd nail our ears to the wall.

I can see the abuse issue with it. But then I can't say as I wrestle with guys anymore because they don't know when to stop, and it steps over into the serious.

It's a free world. The Super Bowl will give equal advertising time to whoever wants to pony up the cash.

As for the ad depicting violence against women - I guess you can choose to take anything out of context. The woman that made that comparison, I would liken to PETA: an organization with some legitimate concerns over animals that turn around and make themselves look foolish by asking Punxsutawny to use a robot groundhog. Stick to relevant issues, for God's sake.

Right, and perception is everything of course. So, it might not be out of context for one person, but is for another person. But since one doesn't really know each person's history offhand, one shouldn't reject the comments offhand.

And while I will say when PETA was first established, I think they did really good will getting attention out and things fixed. Now, however, their nucking futs out of their minds!

Out of context is out of context. If you took that commercial as an underhanded way of promoting violence against women, your perceptors are off. Sorry.

just for the record

if we are speaking of racism against Spanish

Spanish is a subset of the caucasian race. Just like anglo, or norwegian, or italian

so its hard for a caucasian to be racist against another caucasian

but when it comes to nationalities I do happen to be prejudiced against mexicans. We, as Texans, fought two wars with them already and whipped em. There hasn't been anything that mexico has done in the last hundred years to change my opinion of em. Even the Texas hispanics are insulted if you call em Mexicans

EDIT: I have a friend who vehemently says "don't call me Latino. Those are all Cubans and Puerto Ricans. And don't call me Chicano. Those are all in California driving low riders. And don't call me Mexican. They all live a hundred miles south of here. I am the by god pure blood decendant of the Spanish Conquistadors and you can call me either Spanish or Texican"

So even among the hispanics there is some prejudice I guess

I served in the military and was GOOD friends with 5 Mexicans, three from Texas and two from Southern California. (by good friends, I mean I worked with, ate with, partied with, lived with, **** with, laughed with and cried with) I refer to them as Mexicans because that is how they referred to themselves. Three of the five were 1st generation Americans and used the term "wetback" when making fun of illegal aliens. They also used to tell me that Hispanic was just a word white people used.

Haven't talked to any of them since I've been out of the Army, so I haven't gotten their take on the term "Latino," but my guess is, it would be the same.

Funny thing too, when I was married, my wife was a teacher in a charter school, where the population was 90% black. I say black, because the kids all referred to themselves as black and said the term "African-American" was a word made up by white people.

Funny, huh?

I don't have an opinion - just an observation.

And this one which is what I personally think happens at the majority of superbowl parties anyway. That's why men don't want women at them. spock I mean where else can men watch other men in tight pants tackling each other for balls and then spank each others azzes and cheer? In any other setting, it would be considered a gay porno.

WHAT DO YOU THINK OF MY CLOWN PICTURE??????????????????????

At first glance, it looks like you are holding a semi-automatic weapon, and I fear my life may be in danger from a guy that has completely lost it, dressed up like a clown and is headed for a high tower to go have human target practice.

But then again, I don't like clowns.

Morning from the hangover! I'd really like to respond to your comments but at the moment I'm very queasy and having difficulty sitting up straight. So for now, thanks for the feedback. I have plenty to say, as soon as I can carry a conversation past a few sentences I will write a full reply.

Is that short for: I've heard what you all have had to say and now I'm going to go do what I had planned to do anyway? (Like say to hell with my friend and bang her brains out)

YES.....YES I AM.......

Maybe that's part of the problem..you don't even recognize a good man when ya see one...cuz Um, he is!! One of the best on here..

Thanks for defending me Lo, but that is O.K. I was joking around, but I obviously offended her.

Let me give her an example of what she sounds like, then maybe she can see what I mean.

I am looking for a woman about my age but that is into fitness and has the looks of someone 15 to 20 years younger. Someone who is a great mom to her kids, hard-working, but still has the energy to go to the gym after work, develop her six-pack abs, then come home and clean her house, sos when I come over to snuggle on the couch, the place is immaculate. Someone who is a great cook, has a good heart, likes to party, but doesn't have a drinking problem. Is independent but likes to be feminine and be taken care of. Someone who is into back rubs (giving, not getting) and loves to scrump, as I am horny as a 15 year old.

If anyone has seen her, give me her number or email address please.

See how funny that sounds? Search for your type FIRST, then worry about compatibility as you are getting to know the person.

If such a man exists, you will probably have to accept him not having any arms, as they will be torn off during the tug-of-war all the women on here will have over him.

I was being a smart-a$$, because your expectations for the perfect man were so pin-pointed.

He does exist, but he is probably happily married, or at least with another woman, at your age.

Seriously, take all those qualities and imagine what type of person that would be, then imagine where that type of man would hang out and make yourself available in those places. Chances are he won't fit that description perfectly, but it will be a good start.

Certainly better than hoping someone will find him on the internet and then set you up with him.

Good Luck.
