Any older ladies up for some fun this weekend in Lauflin

Learning to spell it correctly as "Laughlin" and more importantly, filling out your profile might help.

These are under the assumption that a profile with photo and content belong to a real person. From my experiences that's not the case

They HAVE to belong to a real person...otherwise that would be dishonest. spock

When you state "as we know", you're assuming it's a fact. As economist Thomas Sowell would ask, where is you empirical evidence? Paul R. Ehrlich and wife Anne's 1968 book "The Population Bomb" has been criticized for its alarmist tone, and in recent decades for its inaccurate predictions, according to the book's article in Wikipedia.

Think of what Elizabeth Custer (1842-1933) saw in her long lifetime...from covered wagons to airplanes.

If someone said you had a beautiful body would you just agree or would you hold it against them?

If you're going to quote lyrics, it's fair to give credit--"If I Said You Had A Beautiful Body Would You Hold It Against Me?" (The Bellamy Brothers, 1979)

I never got any P51 time but have a couple hours in the BT17 Stearman which was the primary trainer for the Mustang and that era fighters. Maybe one day.

If you do, remember to keep some foot on the rudder due to all that Rolls Royce torque.

I haven't heard this in a while but it seems I walk like I'm going to kick someone's asx. lol I'm talking with a friend of my neighbor about an old car project when he mentioned it. Anyone else have a slightly out of kilter (habit?} FYI I have never been in a fight other than self defense training.

I walked with a limp since 1974 when I was T boned in my '67 GTO by a guy in a '69 Road Runner, it left me with one leg an inch longer than the other. Just that alone caused some fights but usually it was my friends POed because someone was making fun of my walk. Aside from that I've been in a ton of fights; I spent 30+ years in every club, roadhouse and bar in the SE US. Most places all
I had to do was open my mouth and everyone knew I was a Yankee, my g g g grandfather was one of the 3 big religious leaders for the confederacy and Nebraska wasn't a state until 1867, two years after the war was over so I never considered myself a Yankee, But often times it would be at closing time and someone who was looking for trouble would remember that "big Yankee" and a lot of them wouldn't quit or talk sense so the fight would be on. Now often times I'd be saved by whoever I was there working with/for and they of course were good ol' born and raised southern boys and as soon as they'd say "hey he's with us" most of the time that would be the end but not always. I was raised to never start a fight but never back down from one either. My dad was a Korean war Marine and had a lot of training and more experience at hand to hand combat and I used to be a pretty big guy (now there's Jr High school kids bigger than I ever was). Now days there's so much less bar fight/parking lot fighting that happens and so much more cop involvement it just doesn't happen like it used to which first might seem like a good thing but the effect it's had is now people in those situations tend to be more obnoxious and run their mouths more because they know they can get away with it!
My daughter who is almost 16 restrains me often from saying things that might start a fight; she just tells me to calm down and think about how old I am and my health problems and I know she's right. It hasn't happened yet but I sure would hate to get my azz kicked by some kid and she's right again about that; when you're 64 you can't be fighting with 24 or 34 year old kids. noway
I was out about a year ago and got into a small skirmish; I just happened to be in the right place at the right time to see this couple dancing and just as I was walking by he slapped her hard and waited a few seconds and then backhanded her and knocked her to the floor, I just reacted the way I always would have without thinking about it first and then he and I were "dancing" for a bit but the bouncers showed up and grabbed him so that was the end of it.
Sorry, think I've been having another flashback and got carried away bigsmile
Well I think the world would be better off if people had to backup the things that come out of their mouths they way it should be.

The problem with street and bar fights today is that many don't fight much--if they feel they're dissed, they just pull and start shooting.

There is a type of walk like that, raising and lowering the alternate shoulder with each step. And do you fly a P-51?

Aliens

When I first got that movie, I watched it daily, for like 2 weeks, trying to figure out if every marine was actually killed or not. It’s a fun movie for sure. Alien was a suspenseful movie for is’ time as well. Actually read the book. Pretty damn close to the movie.

That being said, for humor and action; Army of Darkness.
Humor by itself, Groundhog Day
Action/drama, my go to movie; The Count of Monte Cristo. A classic, I recommend it.

I read the title and thought "xenophobia" was the fear of being attacked/hunted/killed by a xenomorph.
I'm dissappointed to realize its just another thread about racism.
