OK, so we've determined that Srargazzer has no interest in social justice.

There is none. A man is called experienced, while a woman is called a slut. One is a compliment, the other an insult, yet both terms to describe the same activity. Doesn't seem right to me. What about you?

Word soup, indeed. Not only do all of these words sound impressive, the thoughts that they represent ARE impressive, very impressive. Einstein worked on his "theory of everything" until his dying day without ever achieving it.

He didn't think much of quantum physics, a still poorly undrstood branch of physics, but quantum physicists are trying to pick up where Einstein left off. Admittedly it's all mind boggling, but essential in our understanding of ourselves and the universe. Personally, I just hope I live long enough to see sceince achieve a good understaning of gravity.

This speech is excerpted from "The Great Dictator," 1940. Chaplin's later film weren't well received by the public, but they were very meaningful and phophetic. For thos of you who liked this speech, as I do, please be aware that Chaplin was an agnoistic who espoused socialist sympathies.

Most of these statements don't reflect what a person might have said 55 years ago. Seventy five years ago, perhaps, but not 55 years.

I, too, will be casting my vote to re-elect President Obama, and I would encourage anyone who values the middle class to do the same. He's an intelligent man who appears to want the same things for our country that I do. There really is an unheslty disparity in wealth in the US. I remember when the top American earners were taxed at a 90% rate, and well still had the weathiest people in the world along with a thriving middle class. We still have the wealthiest people in the world, but the middle class if failing.

Ron Paul may be an intelligent man when it comes to medicine, but he's an idiot when it comes to government--as are most of his supporters.

Genetically speaking, every person who lives long enough to pass on his or her geners makes a difference in the grand scheme of humanity. Other than that, none of us really makes any lasting difference aside from the bonds we establish with others, and those rarely have any effect once we're dead. So physically, yes, every life matters. Socially, we only matter monemtarily in the big picture. Sort of depressing, isn't it?

Don't ignore your little voice. It may be telling you something you need to know. Good luck.

Animals often let you know when a disaster is imminent. For example, if you see a dog hike his leg next to a white sofa you can be certain that a disaster is about to occur. :)

Does anybody read profile information before contacting a person? I do because I don't want to waste people's time. I also don't want to lead people on to believe I am interested in them when I'm actually not. If you don't read profiles than how are you actually going to know if you are interested in that person?

Yes, I do.
