Hey everyone, I'm back with a special mother's day poem. I hope everyone likes it.


Mom, You're One In A Million

Out of all the mothers God chose
I'm glad He chose YOU for ME,
No other mother could do
All that you have done, you see?
I'm glad you gave me birth
And raised me the best you can,
I hope that I have pleased you
I'm your number one fan.

I just want to let you know Mom
You are definitely one in a million,
I know that you really are
Cause I can't count to a zillion.
I would give you candy or flowers
But I'm much sweeter than that,
You might get allergic to the flowers
And the candy will make you fat.

But all kidding aside mother
I'll get serious now, you see,
I am so happy to have
A mother like you for me.
You taught me right from wrong
And done your very best,
To raise a child, such as me
I celebrate your fest.

This is to all my friends that have been out there through the whole time I have been here, for the support you have given me, with my poetry and stories as well as my ups and downs. I am leaving the site for a while, but I will not delete my profile just yet. If ya'll would like to know how to keep in touch with me, send me a message and I will leave you an email address or a site we can keep in touch with I have been on for a while now. Once again, ya'll have been wonderful. Thanks for the memories. Most of you, I already have your emails addresses, but just in case, send me a message. I finally got the chance to get in here and read these and I just want to thank everyone for your prayers and support through this. It took five hours for them to finally get her blood pressure to a safe level, but they managed to maintain it overnight until they felt sure enough to send her home with meds and a regimen to keep it down. They didn't know what caused it to stay so high since all her tests came back normal. But she is on medication now, so it's a wait and see thing from here on out.

I want to thank Erica for starting this prayer thread for us and we felt the prayers being answered. Thanks to all of you with lots of love and hugs to you all.

Twelve Invitations

When Jesus knew it was time
There weren't any limitations,
The Last Supper was forthcoming
He sent out twelve invitations.
He knew they would come
His disciples twelve,
He told them of His demise
In heaven He would dwell.

He sent out twelve invitations
When He beckoned His call,
When He opened up His heart
He opened it for all.
Invitations for your life
To give up all of your sin,
To follow in His footsteps
With a new life to begin.

Give Him your RSVP
By accepting Him in your heart,
You'll feel the glory of His love
If you will only start.
Accept Him today
And do as the Bible says,
Glory hallelujah
Your soul has been blessed.
