Hello asim In medieval times unless the king was dead .. the queen really had little power . I am sure she had no choice but to accept his infidelity . In the era you are referring to any women who accused her husband of adultery would be accused of being a witch and burned at the stake . For a queen it was seen as treason and she would be thrown in a dungeon or beheaded . Society was very much controlled by men . It is ludicrous to make a comparison with modern day relationships .

In modern times .. power can influence how a partner behaves or reacts to infidelity .. however that cannot be generalised ... it comes down to individual willpower and circumstances .
