i think you'll find NZ is very similar but maybe a wee bit laid back..in a good sense but yes, the call of family can be undeniably strong and i'm sure your kids love you ever so much for you being there for them
|

tis nice when you do get the good weather....sure some days are blisteringly warm but overall the temperature is nice and those early get ups in the morning until those late night sit outside times make it all worthwhile

i am half Irish ....1/4 Scots and 1/4 Maori (native kiwi)...english is the primary language in New Zealand and Maori is the native tongue....which some Kiwi's are now learning very fluently....there are a few of course..as in most countries that flat out refuse to even bother to learn but this is purely their choice...tis not a matter of 'you must obey and learn' lol....if you wanna do it, do it...if you don't, then don't...simple
