Just got over a break~up about a week ago, although we were only together 3 years. It does take time to heal, and this is a great place to help with that. yea... thats why i am trying this...

I'm sorry to here that you are feeling down. My ex and me were together just over 15 years when we broke up. It's hard to se her with her boyfriend, but I know that she is happy now. You should be happy too. I am trying to be... i know it takes time... thanks for being here dear

Maybe it could make you feel better if you write down the reasons WHY you are glad you are not together. The things he did that just really pissed you off. I did that once and it made me feel better. it is hard but remember the good times and go out and do something for you..i have the same on my mums birthday, on the date she died every year we all meet up as a family..go up to the tops(countryside) have a nice meal and chat about all the good times, feel like shes smiling down on us Its good when you know that the person is good, but if he is a cheater, its a different story

I am suppose to be celebrating my 12 yr wedding anniversary today, except that we decided to finally end the marriage more than a year ago. I know that i need to move on, and i am trying, its just that when this day comes, i can't help but feel really lonely....
