I've had no luck yet but that really all comes down to how open and active you are on the site. introducing yourself in the forums is a good start and using the mutual matches feature. other than that just try talking to people and see how it goes. oh and welcome to the site.

I've been puzzling over how to deal with this issue a lot recently. I'm getting to know someone on this site slowly but I don't know when if ever it would be appropriate to exchange that kind of info. ironically, according to our profiles we live in the same town so all this internal conflict over what to do may end up being meaningless if we both end up waiting in line at the supermarket.

I've been beating round the proverbial bush for too long and I'm sick of it, I'm bored, lonely and still can't understand why people watch shows like geordie shore, but I digress.
