I like a little of both, but tend to listen to more under ground/ indie music.

Ever hear Immortal Technique?

Hell yeah I've heard of Immortal Technique! He's got some good stuff, but I like Sage Francis and the Sol.Illaquists of Sound for underground a little more. Immortal is good, but I went through a big kick of his stuff so I gotta let it sit on the back burner for a while until it gets fresh again.

Do you guys like listening to studio-produced artists or local talent more? I used to stick to the labels, made a quick stint with underground hip-hop and for a couple years now I've been sucked into the local music scene.

How about you guys?

Good Omens by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett, simultaneously with Pride & Prejudice & Zombies.

Next on the chopping block I need to get around to reading Slaughterhouse Five (had the book for years, just never got around to it), maybe some Bradbury, and I've been dying to re-read Gulliver's Travels for the longest time.

This site isn't the place to go for it. I know a lot of girls at my university that lean towards black men or only date black men. If you can, try to attend an event at URI (basketball/hockey game, concert, show or something) and meet some girls there. Or if clubbing is your thing then check out the nightlife in Narragansett or South Kingstown.

Best of luck!

For the most part. I could do without Yellow Submarine.

Tech n9ne

Tech N9ne is sick!

I'm a big Immortal Technique and Army of the Pharaohs fan myself. And, by extension, Jedi Mind Tricks.

I love it when women start the conversation. Too often do I feel like I'm in a one-sided relationship and when the woman initiates it reverses that notion.

thats from south side of providence im a 25 year old white male very very very very desperate any domincan girls want to go out with a 25 year old white male id rather have a domincan girl then a million nuffing is better than having a domincan girlfriend i love them so much there is nuffing better

Admitting desperation in and of itself is a desperate move, and is generally considered to be unattractive to the fairer sex. It can be construed as a sign of weakness or inability to attract said sex.

Most women would not find this attractive, just figured you should know.

To be "mysterious" is simple. All you need to do is have ulterior motives, never explain yourself, let other people think what they will.

Don't give your opinion in a long winded manner, be succinct and to the point, but a bit ambiguous.

And finally, wear a trenchcoat and dark glasses. Carry a notebook and write in it (or pretend to), and pay special attention to things that don't matter.

I just wear my secret smile and walk with a little extra zip in my step. It gives me motivation to "be all I can be" instead of idly lounging around.

But I dislike "gushy" behavior in general. It's good for you that you found love but it's a private thing, no need to announce it to the world.

Well that all depends on what I'd want to get accomplished.

But as of right now I'd go back to the end of high school and give myself some key advice, things that I should have learned a long time ago.

Conjunction Junction, what's your function?
Hooking up words and phrases and clauses.
Conjunction Junction, how's that function?
I got three favorite cars
That get most of my job done.
Conjunction Junction, what's their function?
I got "and", "but", and "or",
They'll get you pretty far.

[spoken] "And":
That's an additive, like "this and that".
"But":
That's sort of the opposite,
"Not this but that".
And then there's "or":
O-R, when you have a choice like
"This or that".
"And", "but", and "or",
Get you pretty far.

[sung] Conjunction Junction, what's your function?
Hooking up two boxcars and making 'em run right.
Milk and honey, bread and butter, peas and rice.
Hey that's nice!
Dirty but happy, digging and scratching,
Losing your shoe and a button or two.
He's poor but honest, sad but true,
Boo-hoo-hoo-hoo-hoo!

Conjunction Junction, what's your function?
Hooking up two cars to one
When you say something like this choice:
"Either now or later"
Or no choice:
"Neither now nor ever"
Hey that's clever!
Eat this or that, grow thin or fat,
Never mind, I wouldn't do that,
I'm fat enough now!

Conjunction Junction, what's your function?
Hooking up phrases and clauses that balance, like:
Out of the frying pan and into the fire.
He cut loose the sandbags,
But the balloon wouldn't go any higher.
Let's go up to the mountains,
Or down to the seas.
You should always say "thank you",
Or at least say "please".

Conjunction Junction, what's your function?
Hooking up words and phrases and clauses
In complex sentences like:
[spoken] In the mornings, when I'm usually wide awake, I love to take a walk through the gardens and down by the lake, where I often see a duck and a drake, and I wonder, as I walk by, just what they'd say if they could speak, although I know that's an absurd thought.

Conjunction Junction, what's your function?
Hooking up cars and making 'em function.
Conjunction Junction, how's that function?
I like tying up words and phrases and clauses.
Conjunction Junction, watch that function.
I'm going to get you there if you're very careful.
Conjunction Junction, what's your function?
I'm going to get you there if you're very careful.
Conjunction Junction, what's your function?
I'm going to get you there if you're very careful.

I live my one life for pleasure, like a hedonist, only with some moral obligations.

Do no harm. Do not impose. Do what makes you happy.

If you can't live by those three tenets then I think there's something wrong, because those are just the basics of a foundation of decency.
