i had a major sporting injury in my teens, with the flow on effect of developing chronic insomnias in my young adult years. i went to many of these spiritual and religious charlatans, and apart from one it always included parting ways with lots of money. nothing worked and i eventually got around it with man-made science / organic medicine.

having said that, i sometimes get omens in dreams, not all the time but usually when there is an upcoming heightened crisis in my personal life, sometimes what i see in the dream happens verbatim 9 months later. its pretty random though. not everything and i havent had one for years now. i dont see it as supernatural or from spirits when you zone in. i see it as a heads up from the universe or maybe my brain processing fuzzy stuff and reaching an outcome and telling me.

i believe the brain is a powerful organ though. sometimes id be coding something and hacking at it for many hours getting nowhere. id go to sleep. wake up the next day, and blitz it in 5 minutes. the brain never shuts down and its always working on something for you in the background.

one time as a kid i was going to bed and had a thought come to me that im gonna wake up at exactly 6am. all that was was a weighted guess. or one time during university i wanted to hear a specifc song, it wasnt a current pop song, turned car radio on and there it was. all it was was a good guess and i would never be able to repeat it.

youngest was supposed to be sleeping over here again as its the easter long weekend. her mom said no on thurs after their trip to syd then drama class, so i didnt bother pursuing it. got a call from kid earlier, said she was at our favourite beach with her mum and sis and told me to get there.

ten mins later im there and we're in the ocean, i guess.

as we walking into the water im like i understand your mom cant go in for company, but why didn you go with mons? your good now. she said its more fun with you. hehe.

her mum cant swim and hasnt even been in deeper salt water than her ankles. and she has this fear of the ocean which doesnt help neither when its me with the kids in there as they were growing up.

ive taught all three girls how to body surf (little one also likes body board, middle one has learnt to use a surf board at school and wants to borrow my board) and to always respect the ocean and take it seriously as anything can happen like being caught in a rip, massive waves, etc and if **** hits the fan to signal the patrolling life guards for help.

little one said she leaving with me and im like okay and thought adolf must have approved it earlier. cool.

unplug the network cable or disable wifi, take a screenshot of apps installed, backup your data to external hdd, reformat windows, manually copy data back, reinstall all apps again, stop clicking on dumb emails or porn ads. repeat in a few months?

or just install a free Linux Desktop (Zorin OS/Linux Mint are good) and learn to use a real Desktop Environment even though steep learning curve if you delve deeper, but nothing like three decades ago.

Its decent entertainment i admit, enjoyed it as that, i thought the actors were engaging, but historically inaccurate and written with a greek narrative and arrogance. the thing that irked me the most was that they swung back and forth between the actors and some cherry-picked historians of today to make it look credible, it wasnt and many people are angry about the way it was poorly written.

All i can say is that Eugene Borza is rolling in his grave right now, fuming.

But as entertainment it was quite good.

20 year smoker turned vaper, and in a few days i make ten years vaping......i DIY and go flavourless these days; that is, three chemicals in my vape, liquid nicotine, PG and VG. That's it.

I could totally quit but i enjoy vaping, from building coils to making the liquid, i dont chain vape anymore and could go hours without it unlike with combustibles.

I havent bought a new device for years, dont bother with the product reviewers, scientific journals, forums and such anymore. Got nic in the freezer that has me good for another 5?+ years.. im no advocate, i dont entice others over, its just a hobby i still do, for now..
