I split my year between 2 different locations, climates, even states. It seems to work for me - up to a point.

Not necessarily a white picket fence, but it seems like "most" want to lay down roots in ONE geographic location.

Even though I feel a sense of community in each location, I find it difficult to find anyone that agrees.

Could you feel "at home" in more than one location?

Have you checked out the MILF thread? I mean retired people have to places. One for winter and one for summer.

I would like one place.

Not quite ready to retire...not many (of working age) are cut out for splitting their time.
