According to Renew America:

'The federal government is currently spending 20.8 cents of every $1 the economy generates, up from 18.5 cents in 2001, White House budget documents show. That's the most rapid growth during one administration since Franklin Roosevelt, who served 1933-45, during the Depression and World War II.'

Here's the article:

This was in 2006. Who knows what it is now.

This President spent more money than Carter, Reagan, Clinton and Nixon.

Who is this liberal spending president?

Why, it's none other than George Bush Jr.!

Back in 2006, Republicans held BOTH houses of Congress.

If you're a fiscal conservative, you should be mad as hell by now.

I'm a fiscally conservative Independent.

There are some Republicans who are against such profigate spending, but, unfortunately, they're not heard and they are in the minority.

Just think if MCcain get's in office, he would be another Bush and I really can not think of that happening.

But it will be even a bigger mess and more money spend and so many more men lost in Iraq etc etc.

This is why when November comes we can not affored another Bush wannabe in the White House like MCcain is.devil

hummmm, don't the Democrats have control of congress right now? Aren't they the ones who are passing all the pork barrel legislation? Perhaps if we weren't spending so much on social programs to support illegal aliens the spending rate would go down. They are costing more than the war in Iraq.

And the last time that I checked, the President is the one to approve all the bills.

Pork Barrell spending is done by BOTH Democrats and Republicans, sorry to inform everyone about this.laugh

It is your democrat majority held congress that does the spending. The President does have the right to request programs for money to be spent on, congress has to approve, the President can use a veto.

NOW, what is it that people cannot understand?

Except you all just need a lame excuse to bash President Bush and the Republicans.

Lame, people,lame.grumble
