I just dont know, if I am over looking someone. A real close guy friend of mine, that I see like all the time told me before he would treat me like a princess. He works for everything he has, and he does have a son from his marriage. He is now divorced and been single since. When I'm with him I see him as like an older brother and best guy friend. I had a few people ask me while dont I date him, I just cant. But I know he would be an amazing person to live with and grow old with.

I just dont know, if I should try this site again for love. Or if I should try it with my guy friend, but I dont want to intured on him..or even some how mess our friendship up.

If you don't see him as more than a friend, then my suggestion, leave it just as "friendship" dont ruin a good thing! Leave him available to find someone who will love him.

Try reading the book by Dr. H. Hendrix called "Getting the Love You Want". It has some interesting insight as to why we always keep picking the "wrong" people in relationships.

Maybe I'll look for it and pick it up. I could use a good book to ready tha will acutally help me in my life.

Hello XG,

It takes an incredible amount of patience sometimes. There are so many beautiful people out there but it is sometimes hard to find a special one who complements you and also makes the hair on the back of your neck stand on end.

They are out there though. Many many many of them.

Best not to push your friendship with your male friend. He has said he is available but to be fair to you both you need to have the desire - a strong desire - of attraction before you will be successful dating him. So, be friends and be a good friend but keep your distance until those feelings come on strong. Otherwise you are likely to hurt yourself, him and destroy your friendship.

Online dating - well - has its limitations. This site is fun and you can get a lot of good advice here - and have a good time if you have the right attitude...but don't get too caught up in it. Take precautions in meeting anyone from online. If they are good then they will never mind having some friends along for a first meeting in a public place. If you can, then video chat with them first and you can see what they really look like and how they interact - next best thing to "in-person". And, as I've said many times...when it is right then you will have no doubts and they will magically want to spend just as much time with you as you do with them.

There is no explanation for it.

All the best.
