If you love someone, set them free. If they come back, then they are yours. If the do not, then they never were.

Love is like a butterfly. Hold it too tight and it will crush. Hold it too loose and it will fly.

The real gift in letting someone be happy even if it is not with you that Most often you end up also being much happier yourself in the long run. Being with some who is unhappy just poisons your world. Being selfish and expecting them to unhappy if you are is bad karma that usually comes back to you in spades full of misery.

Yes, but I want her next mate to hate me, deeply. I want to be the guy she uses for the guy who's standards her future mate has to live by to such a point that he curses me, wishing I was never born because I have become the new minimum standard that he can't live by. pitchfork pitchfork pitchfork pitchfork rofl rofl rofl

Thats a break up line designed to make it easier on the other person. Look, i don't know who started this blatent lie, but one thing is for sure...If two people want to be together, they will. Now, notice, i didnt even say love here. Sure you naturally want them to be happy. Part of the reason is that you desire to share your happiness with the other person. I can't imagine anyone honestly happy about ditching or being ditched by someone they truely love.

Now i understand there are a few rare occasions, like a mother leaving her child with someone else, because ninja hitman are after her. Maybie a guy who is forced to go to war, and leave his chick. But in both cases they are always with the other.

"if you never ment to leave, you would of stayed"

True fact.
