What are some good questions to ask my boyfriend what he thinks of the relationship and where he thinks it's going?

just to kinda get him to open up a bit coz i feel its going nowhere and im having a bit of trouble trying to open up about it too....

Maybe he doesn't know.
Ask him what his plans are for the next five years, for his life. You can figure out from the answer--or lack of answer--where you stand.

Give some details because if you've been going out for only a few months the questions should be like:

"Can I bring a beer into the bedroom to rinse with after"

or

"Can you pull my hair while we do it Doggie style"

Just went back and read your previous posts. If you're talking about the same guy here, I think you should totally get rid of that guy. Dude sounds like a frickin head case, and you'd be better off without him.

I like the direct route. I tend to discuss these things really early in a relationship (or sometimes, before it hits "relationship" status)--if we're looking for completely different things, I'd rather know early on so we can both look for more compatible people. So personally, I'd just ask what he's hoping for from the relationship, if he sees a future for it, what that future might be, etc.
