Long ago, a handsome man met beautiful woman. This woman was his world or so he thought, until it came to light that the man had very little time to spend developing a loving relationship.

The man began ignoring the woman. He stopped calling, spending time with her, and sending emails. Once and a while he would think of her but assumed she would always be there for him.

Then one day the handsome man decides that he now has time for a relationship and that he really needed her in his life. To his dismay the beautiful woman had met a strong, thoughtful, considerate, giving man with a very busy lifestyle. This new man took the time it takes to develop a strong and loving relationship with this new woman that came into his life as a true blessing.

The handsome man could not believe that the woman wouldn’t wait on him. The handsome man ended up sad and alone.

The moral of this story is:
We all find time to do what we truly WANT to do!

If you care about someone, tell them.
You may miss out on the love of your life.

(This story can be changed around to fit a woman, also.)

Not men bashing just sharing a bit of wisdom.

It's true. I'm so over the excuse that people are "too busy to ______."

We're all busy!!! We all have: family, friends, work, dating life, pets, exercise, school, sick grandma, soccer practice, and snowboarding lessons.

Who hasn't been: asked to work overtime, stuck at home with the kids, busy doing laundry, or sitting in crazy traffic because the Democratic National Convention is taking over your city?

Yet somehow, someway, the world keeps going. People still meet and get to know each other and fall in love.

If it's important to you, you'll find the time to do it.

Many people find reasons why they do not like someone. They want it all on their terms. They tend to set the bar too high and are unwilling to compromise on their image of what a perfect mate would be. They live in a fantasy world. They want Prince Charming and will not settle for anything less. They will likely end up with nothing.

Never trying and never knowing is not living to your full potential in life. Take measured risks in life and stop making excuses. We have one life to live.

That's all I'm saying.

I will no longer take this as an excuse. If someone truly cares about you they will make the time, no matter how busy they are!

You are so right. If a person really wants something or someone, they won't let anything stand in their way.

I think people get selfish with their time if they are not looking at the relationship as a possible partnership...where two people care about each other and want to add to each other's lives...instead they are two individuals just out for themselves. If two people follow their hearts and make common goals they can and will find time to be together.

so you are saying that you will settle for less than what you want? How much less? Do you think people should have no standards at all and just go out with the first person they meet?

You have to have some standards, I think. I would rather end up alone than end up with someone I can't stand.
